Install VJSP in IntelliJ IDEA

This guide describes how to install and enable the VJSP plugin in IntelliJ IDEA.

Prerequisites

• Operating System: Windows 10/11, macOS, or UOS
• IDE: IntelliJ IDEA 2024.3 or later
• Runtime: Node.js 20.x or later

Install the VJSP Plugin

We recommend installing online from the JetBrains Marketplace. For offline deployment, you can also install manually using a local ZIP package.

Method 1: Install from Marketplace (Recommended)

1. Open IntelliJ IDEA, go to Settings > Plugins.
2. In the Plugins interface, search for VJSP.
3. Select the VJSP plugin and click Install.
4. After installation, restart IDEA to activate the plugin.

Method 2: Manual Install from Local ZIP

1. Go to the VJSP Download Page on JetBrains Marketplace, switch to the Versions tab, and download the latest VJSP plugin package (ZIP format).
2. Open IntelliJ IDEA and go to the Plugins page.
3. Click the settings icon > Install Plugin from Disk.
4. Select the downloaded .zip package to install.
5. After installation, restart IDEA.

Log In and Enable VJSP

After installation, log in to your verified account to use all AI features.

1. Open IntelliJ IDEA, find the VJSP icon in the right sidebar, and click to expand the plugin control panel.
2. At the top of the control panel, click the Log in button.
3. Your default browser will automatically open the VJSP login page.
4. Complete login in the browser, then go to the authorization page and click Agree.
5. Return to IntelliJ IDEA. Your account info will appear in the VJSP panel, and all AI features are now available.

The plugin is ready — you can start chatting with VJSP.

Update the Plugin

1. Open IntelliJ IDEA, go to Settings > Plugins, search for VJSP, and open the plugin details page.
2. On the details page, click Update.
3. Confirm the update and restart IDEA to apply the new version.
